The designers decided to underline the airports significance by proposing an axiometric composition of the terminals and a hotel with stepped elements - such as the parking entrance and greenery interspersed with water elements. The aerodynamic dome hotel, which is linked to the roof of the terminal, refers back to the place and theme of the project. The tectonic divisions and architectural details alludes to mechanical tradition of symbolic motion, communication, and innovation. In this way the project eliminates the differences between the ideal form and scale of the planes and that of the buildings, which due to economic and functional reasons do not exceed the scale of large pavilions or halls. Thus, the identifying trait of the Lublin airport in Świdnik will be simple, but not explicit - the terminal and hotel, along with the remaining buildings, will represent a metaphor of airport design.
