The Palatium Hotel realized in 2001-2002 stands in Huta Żabiowolska c. 30 km. from the centre of Warsaw. The building material is unplastered brick with granite elements taken from old cobblestones alluding to the past and creating a feeling that the building has always been standing there. The use of stone in the buildings details and floors evokes a raw material impression and refers to the Roman palatium form. The subsequent extension of the building was led and designed by investors themselves.
